Celebrate the centennial of Scouting in America by completing the newly announced historical merit badges. Adults interested in counseling these badges and Scouts interested in participating may review the requirements here (.pdf).

1/26/2010 Remember Safe Hiking!
All Scouters should remember to practice safe hiking techniques, such as the buddy system. Whether planning a day trip or a Philmont excursion, everyone should consult the Troop's safe hiking guidelines (.pdf) before hitting the trail.

The calendar has been updated to include all meetings, events and other activities for the entire year of 2009. The calendar is also available in a printable version.

News Update: 01/26/2009 New Boy Scout Health and medical Record
Get prepared for a new Health and Medical Record that will require annual visits to a doctor in order to attend summer camps or high adventures. The new form will be required for all scouting activities beginning January 1, 2010. BSA is recommending that everyone begin using the form immediately, although those Scouts and Adults under the age of 40 who have an existing Class 2 or Class 3 form that is not three years old by December 31, 2009 can continue to use that form. Any Scout requiring a new physical exam for activities in 2009 can still use the old Class 2/3 form but it will only remain valid until December 31, 2009.

The new form is available in the Administrative section.
